This is a shrine or altar wall hanging that measures around 8” x 14”. It features a temple style of design, with flames. The front ledge has space for a small LED candle, which is included with purchase.

Designed, cut, and assembled by Moonstruck Designs PDX.

3 Color options: gold, silver, or iridescent lilac ("purple").

Idea behind the piece: Conceptually, this altar was built with the concept of “closure” in mind. Life is not like the movies or tv. You do not get a neatly wrapped-up plot line, a tidy conclusion. Life is messy, and full of loss. When it comes to instances like an unforeseen death, a freak accident, or a surprise breakup, we often do not receive closure. We create divisions of order to delude ourselves into believing that we have control over the chaos, when in reality, the only constant is change.

 

Care: Acrylic is lightweight and durable but can be prone to scratches. Avoid contact with sweat, oils, and handle with care. For cleaning, simply wipe gently with a soft cloth, like microfiber, or a lens glasses wipe, to maintain shine!
